Giancarlo Capco, the Chief Technologist Officer (CTO) of CALRIGER Industries, highlighted the multi-functional nature of the Calriger SROG500 UGV, specifically its role in enhancing Search and Rescue Missions. The vehicle is equipped with a suite of features including an Emergency Announcement system via its PA System, capabilities for Search and Reconnaissance, and day and night area security with the aid of night vision surveillance cameras. Its modular design ensures easy customization of payload technologies to fit the varied roles it may serve in missions.
The SROG UGV distinguishes itself with the SolarRev ASOG5 Powerstation charging system, allowing for solar power recharging, demonstrating CALRIGER Industries' commitment to sustainable energy. The SolarRev Aqua Flow Water filtration system is another critical feature, providing essential drinking water filtration for rescue operations. Furthermore, the vehicle is equipped with special wireless charging for devices such as drones, handheld radio communications, and GPS navigators, in addition to internet routers and base radio communication devices to maintain constant communication for all mission operators. Giancarlo Capco explains that these integrations are part of CALRIGER's vision to save lives through technological innovation.
Currently, the SROG UGV is undergoing trials with the tech-centric departments of the Philippine Army and Philippine Air Force to identify the most effective tech configurations for their specific missions. Designed for urban missions, the compact SROG UGV can be transported in SUVs and navigate narrow paths, demonstrating its adaptability to various mission environments.
As testing and refinement continue, the SolarRev Rover Generator UGV by CALRIGER Industries is set to redefine military operations, particularly in search and rescue missions, through its integration of renewable energy and cutting-edge technologies. |
